Alice L. Francis Bartz Obituary
In loving memory of Alice L. Francis Bartz (Batavia, New York), who departed this world on April 20, 2025 at the age of 96. Alice leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Sanderson and Irene Pickett Sanderson; her husbands, Irving Henry Francis and Francis H Bartz; her son Roger Francis; and her granddaughter Jill DoSantos.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Francis of Florida and Doreen DaSilva of Maine; her daughter-in-law Faith Francis of Batavia; her sister Eleanor Eldridge of LeRoy; and her granddaughters, Michelle DeOliveira (Wagner) of Maine and Christine Francis-Frens (Bradley) of Tennessee. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the H. E. Turner & Co. (403 E Main St, Batavia, NY 14020). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alice's memory to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 190 Oak Street, Batavia, New York 14020.
