He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Maria Cristina Meleca (Bagetta) of Siderno Superiore; his wife Terry L. Trimble of Columbus, OH.; and his siblings, Frances Martino, Josephine Meleca, Olga Meleca, Frank Meleca and Carl Meleca of Batavia, NY..

He is survived by: his daughter Marisa Hackett (Flinn); his grandson Evan Hackett of Pittsford, NY; his daughters, Maryellen Meleca (Christine Graziano) of Victor, NY and Maria Meleca; his grandson Ian Kirk; his daughter Erika Schorejs (John); his grandsons, Jackson and Jeffrey Schorejs; his great grandchild Jason Cromley (Meghan); his brother Ben Meleca (Jeanne); Will and Mallory Cromley.
