He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Zipkin and Ida Zipkin (Cohen). He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Zipkin (Rugala); his children, Benjamin Zipkin (Martha) of Madison, Jennifer Zipkin (Andrew Brophy) of Rochester and Steven Zipkin (Elizabeth Prizzia) of Tappan; his granddaughters, Adah, Helena Brophy, Zaya Zipkin, Margaret and Hannah Zipkin; and his sisters-in-law, Stephanie Reinhardt (Alan), Frances Lasky and Paula Doyle (Joel). He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
