She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Tyler and Mary Tyler (McAvoy); her grandson Devon Van Linder; and her siblings, William, Robert, John Tyler and Anne Tyler.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Van Linder (Larry) of Batavia, Clifford Laney of Dansville and Carolyn "Carrie" Laney of Batavia; her granddaughter Katarina Van Linder; her siblings, Barbara Hensel of Batavia and James Tyler (Patricia); and her close friend Alice Vigneri. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
