She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatore Maniace and Phyllis Maniace (LaLoggia); and her siblings, John, Charles, Samuel, Franklin (Ace), Dominic Maniace, Josephine DeFazio (Joan), Frances Mandelar, Mary Jacobs and Angeline Siracuse.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Neil Jacobs, Clarence Dora, John Torres and Nicolina Maniace; her pets, Krystal, Casey and Ginger; her husband Leslie Shafer; her children, Gloria Snyder, Michelle M. Maniace and David Snyder II; and her siblings, Michael (Beverly), Nathan, Richard (Kathy), Robert Maniace, Linda Maniace, Rose Marie Torres and Lucille Dora. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, as well as brothers and sisters-in-law.
A Mass will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Ascension Parish (19 Sumner St, Batavia, NY 14020).
Dorothy has requested no flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Gateway Home, 91 Main Street, Attica, NY 14011, would be deeply appreciated.
