He was predeceased by: his parents, Derwood Hooper and Shirley Hooper; and his former wife Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Roxanne; his stepchildren, Jolean Swanson (Jim) and Matthew Swanson (Monica); his grandchildren, Grant, Reed Cheney, Grace and Chloe Swanson; and his cousin Nancy Jones.
