She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman W. Wahl and Dorothy M. Brehm Wahl; her husband Donald D. Hilbert; and her son D. Michael Hilbert. She is survived by: her children, Christopher D. Hilbert (Wendy) of Bergen, Kimberly A. Holzhauser (Gardner) of Shackelfords and Steven C. Hilbert (Brenda) of Az; her grandchildren, Matthew Hilbert, Alyssa Hilbert, Alex Hilbert, Hennesey Kryston, Alexandria Holzhauser (Preston Goodrich), Danielle Holzhauser and Kassandra Holzhauser; her great grandchildren, Georgia Goodrich, Preston Goodrich, Jr., Carter Goodrich, Briella Hilbert, Malachi Hilbert and Asher Hilbert; her brother Robert N. Wahl (Karen) of Fredonia; and her brother-in-law Reginald Hilbert of Florida. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Book Hotel H. E. Turner & Co. (403 E Main St, Batavia, NY 14020). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Mercyhurst University, Resurrection Parish, Sisters of Mercy or Wilmont Cancer Institute.
