Ida Belle Williams Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2025, at the age of 69, Ida Belle Williams of Batavia, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Ida's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Ida has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her grandmother Ida Belle Williams; her mother Gwendolyn Maloney; and her sister Vivian Bethel-Parris. She is survived by: her children, Alton Williams (Pam Pontillo) and Shuvon Williams (Dan Carter); and her siblings, Alton Bethel, Joanne Jones, Robert Thurston (Cynthia), Edwin Bethel and Sonja Armstrong.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
