He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Hale and Edna Hale (Sumeriski); and his sister Thelma Hale. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Hale (Tim Pahuta), Tammy Lowery, Lori Hale (Tim Sloat), Lisa Amedick and Edna Higgins (Mike); his grandchildren, Douglas Smart, Jr., Timothy Pahuta (Heather), Katelynn Connelly, Sabrina Higgins and Michael Higgins; and his great grandchildren, Audrey Pahuta and Zoey Pahuta.
