Jean E. Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean E. Smith of Batavia, New York, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Russell and Dorothy Anawald Russell; her husband Everett G. Smith; her son David Smith; and her siblings, Marilyn Moulthroup and Ray Russell (late Evelyn).
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Robertson of Waco, Gordon Smith (Cindy) of Batavia and Sharon Belknap (late Craig) of Batavia; and her brother Robert Russell (Donna) of Rochester. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the H. E. Turner & Co. (403 E Main St, Batavia, NY 14020). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jean's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Western New York Chapter, 6400 Sheridan Dr #320, Buffalo, NY 14221.
