We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2025, at the age of 94, LaVern F. Bernard Jr. of Batavia, New York, born in Corfu, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary J. Bernard; his son John L. Bernard; his sister Naomi Hale; and his parents, LaVern F. Bernard, Sr. and Esther Anawald Bernard.
He is survived by: his sons, James E. Bernard (Cheri) of Topeka, KS and Joseph P. Bernard of Mesa, AZ; and his grandchildren, Corey Bernard, Dylan Bernard, Alexandra Bernard, Katie Luna (Kris), Jake Bernard and Christopher Bernard. He is also survived by his great-grandson, August Luna; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (31 Washington Ave, Batavia, NY 14020).
