He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard DeFazio and Carmella Polito DeFazio; his brother Richard DeFazio; his brother-in-law Brian Morasco; and his friend Bernese Shranck.
He is survived by: his children, Nikole Fish (Greg) of Akron and Ron DeFazio of Akron; his siblings, Lenny DeFazio of Batavia, Samuel "Sam" DeFazio (Maria) of LeRoy, Jim DeFazio (Lori) of Batavia, Carmen DeFazio of Florida and Teressa Morasco; and his sister-in-law Jeanette DeFazio of Batavia. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Leonard McAndrew Funeral Home (2 Bogue Ave, Batavia, NY 14020). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Resurrection Parish (303 E Main St, Batavia, NY 14020).
