She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Gaeta and John Gaeta; her husband Angelo "Shieko" Marone; and her siblings, Sarah Mangefrida (Joe), Marion Mancuso (Joe), Calvin Gaeta (Dee) and Harry Gaeta. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“As a little person you would always enjoy a visit to Aunt Rose and Uncle Shieko's. "Always a special time" As you remember aunt Rose the word “Elegant” would be a good description. Visiting their home was like visiting a famous place. She would always have some delicious treats at the ready. Aunt Rose is one of the people in life that Set the Example of a great American family, You automatically think “I want to be like them” I’m sure she is n Heaven right now still giving those lessons!!”
