He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Tibbs and Elizabeth "Betty" Rodgers Tibbs. He is survived by: his children, Joseph "Jake" Tibbs (Katie) of East Pembroke and Sarah Quigley (Austin) of Ohio; his sister Maureen "Moe" Hayes (John) of Batavia; his sibling's children, Melissa Blum (Lee) of Fowlerville and Brian Hayes (Lynn) of Piffard; and his close friend Valerie Cordes. He is also survived by four great-nephews, several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
