He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald McEwen and Helen McEwen (Cramer); his former wife Paula McEwen (Krog); his wife Ellen McEwen (Levins); his brother David E. McEwen; and his grandchildren, Jason Riggi and Leah Pate.
He is survived by: his sister Maggie McEwen-Craven; his stepchildren, Jeannie Pate (Craig) of Russellville, AR, Steven Levins (Edward Popil) of Fairport, NY and Debbie Paille of Oakfield, NY; and his grandchildren, Laura Fricano, Noel Kielar (Matt), Nikki Paille, Kyle Paille (Hillary), Logan Pate (Haley), Melissa Levins, Alexis Paille and Jessica Levins. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Suzanne's Comfort Care Home, Perry, NY.
