With sadness, we share the passing of Elwin L. Erway (Bath, New York). Elwin, born on September 15, 1935, passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Edith; his siblings, Thelma, Eleanor and Carl; his brothers-in-law, Clark Mitchell, Bill Davidson and William Perkins; his niece Sandy Erway; his nephews, Jon Perkins and Eric Erway; and his granddaughter Jessica Erway.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Derick; his children, Deanna Lang (Steve), Michael (Veronica) and Amy Gordon; his siblings-in-law, Lois Fullmer (Bob), Alton Derick (Jean) and Diane Erway; his grandchildren, Garrett Lang (Liz), Hilary Scott, Trevor Lang (Kasey), Samantha Bellis (Nate), Ben Gordon (Kirsten) and Jesse Gordon; his great grandchildren, Kadence, Veronica, Marty, Rory, Bailee, Adilynn, Amelia, Ella and Hudson; and his great great grandchild Matthew.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Bath National Cemetery.
