He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Smalt and Florence Smalt (Dickson); his wife Bertha Jane Smalt (Pierson); his children, Darcia Smalt and Jeffrey Smalt; and his granddaughter SueAnn Chisom.
He is survived by: his son Raymond Smalt; his daughter-in-law Sue Smalt (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, David (Jackie), Faron (Sherry), Gabe (Kori) of Cody, TJ and Kelsey; and his sister Diane Stedman. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
