Wheeler; his children, Stephanie Vinzant (Rudy), Sherman Alan Wheeler (Ann White), Amanda Lozier, Joy Buckley (Norman), John Wheeler (Denae), Joanna Ferguson (Caleb) and Joshua Wheeler (Kaitlyn Tumia); and his siblings, Ivan E. Wheeler, Jr. (Lorraine), Christina R. Weaver (Terry), Patricia Buman, Norma Whitmore (Ron), Cecelia Chant (George), Wayne Wheeler (Penny), Thomas Wheeler (Eileen), Melissa Snyder (Steve) and Angela Robbins (Truman). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Buck Settlement Baptist Church (5349 Buck Settlement Rd, Bath, NY 14810). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
