Florence Mulroy Obituary

Florence Mulroy, born on October 26, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on September 29, 2026. Florence leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Florence leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Florence’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Florence will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Mace and Lillian Mace; her brother Richard Mace; and her husband John Mulroy (Ken). She is survived by: her sister Lillian Gallagher (Fred); and her children, Christine (Susan), John (Shannon), Edward (Margo) and Laura (Tim). She is also survived by her five grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (1225 Montauk Hwy, West Islip, NY 11795). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Patrick's R. C. Church (9 N Clinton Ave, Bay Shore, NY 11706).
