He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kalpin and Amelia Kalpin (Nadolnia); his son Scott; his grandson Scott; his siblings, John, Fred, Will, Olga, Ray and Adam; and his former wife Arlene B. Kalpin (Cardali).
He is survived by: his significant other Bei-Di Dai; his children, Robert Kalpin and Robin A. Kalpin; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Nicole, Isabella and Luciano; and his brother Arthur Kaplin.
