He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Pimley and Ada Pimley; his wife Hester Plimley; and his siblings, Art, Frank, Harry, Fred, Helen, Nellie, Lucy and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Terry VanVoorhis (Daniel), Linda LaPlante (Gary) and Susan Leenhouts (Tim); his grandchildren, Christopher VanVoorhis, Matthew VanVoorhis, Brian, Jackie Lee, Eric LaPlante, Jeff Papo, Mark Papo, Kathryn Leenhouts and Kerry Leenhouts; and his great grandchildren, Sydney VanVoorhis, Jackson VanVoorhis, Madison VanVoorhis, Kaitlyn VanVoorhis, Thomas VanVoorhis, Mason VanVoorhis, Ryan VanVoorhis, Kieran Leenhouts, Hudson Leenhouts, Holland LaPlante, Nolan LaPlante, Juliette Lee and Charlotte Lee.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill (1089 Main St, Fishkill, NY 12524). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fishkill Rural Cemetery (801 US-9, Fishkill, NY 12524).
