He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward P. McElrath and Ruth Tully McElrath. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa McElrath-Bird; his granddaughters, Kaelyn Dickerson (Drew) and Kaycie Bird; his great grandchild Everett Dickerson; and his brother David McElrath.
