He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Harshberger and Nancy Harshberger (McIlwain); his siblings, Patty Rose and Charles Harshberger; his uncle Warren McIlwain; his aunt Sandra Barber; and his brothers-in-law, Robert DeWert, Kenny DeWert, Stephen Shaut and Clarence Lovell.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Harshberger; his son Michael Harshberger (Jessica) of Corning; his granddaughters, Raegan and Delaney Harshberger; his brothers, George Harshberger of Braham, MN and John Harshberger (Chris) of Braham, MN; his uncle Richard Barber of Corning; and his siblings-in-law, Francis DeWert (Ruth) of Colorado, Douglas DeWert (Yvonne) of Beaver Dams, Larry DeWert (Fay) of Canton, PA, John DeWert of Corning, Thomas DeWert (Margaret) of Corning, Ralph DeWert of Painted Post, Charles DeWert (Tammy) of Corning, Brian DeWert (Annette) of Corning, Dale DeWert (Debbie) of Campbell, Elizabeth Rosenblatt (Carl) of Corning, Joan Lovell of Corning, Carol Shaut of Corning, Debbie Husted (Dale) of Corning and Pamela DeWert of Corning. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
