With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles G. McCargar Jr. (Belleville, New York), who passed away on February 26, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles G. Sr. McCargar and Dorothy McCargar (Graves); and his brother Danny. He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda and Baby Wendell; his close friend Marjorie Gardner; his grandchildren, Cainen, Miri and Graiden; Megan, Chelsi, Andrew and Colleen.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Girl's Youth Softball league of Lewis County, an organization created by his daughter, Megan, as a remembrance to all of the little league softball games he would watch, not so quietly, from the sidelines while watching Megan and Chelsi play decades ago.
