She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Caruana and George Caruana. She is survived by: her husband Peter D'Orio; her daughter Alison D'Orio; her siblings, William Caruana (Sherrill), Christopher Caruana (Claudia), Barbara Santurio and Virginia Caruana; and her sisters-in-law, Susan York, Elizabeth Giovine (Robert) and Gina Sepulveda (David).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Clair S. Bartholomew & Son, Inc. (302 Bedford Ave, Bellmore, NY 11710).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roberta's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
