Though Vilma may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband William; and her children, Patricia Tretola (Alfred), Lois Moore (Peter) and William Petrick Jr. (Lara). She was also cherished by 5 grandsons, 8 great grandchildren.
A Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the St. Barbabas R. C. Church (2320 Bedford Ave, Bellmore, NY 11710). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Calverton National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vilma's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
