We bid farewell to Jean Sands of Bellport, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 16, 2025 at the age of 97. Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Bloomfield and Joseph Bloomfield; her husband Joel; and her sisters, Jeri Adelman and Diane Seltzer.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark (Kathy) and Steven (Magdeline); her granddaughters, Rebecca Bliss (Mathew) and Debra Bigelow (Mark); and her great grandchildren, Connor, Miles, Clark and Lilith.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Temple Beth-El in Patchogue.
