He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Baxter and Charles Baxter of Belmont, NY.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Baxter (Seelos); his children, Michael Baxter of Webster, NY, John Baxter (Jennifer) of Randolph, NJ and Jennifer Botelho (Shawn Reed) of Wilmington, NC; his grandchildren, Jake Botelho, Emma Baxter, Kameron Baxter, Tommy Baxter and Harry Baxter; his brother-in-law Peter Seelos of Wilmington, NC; and his nieces, Kirstin May and Kim Hewlett. He is also survived by cousins, and friends.
