He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E Howard and Beulah Howard (Robertson); and his grandfather Chauncey. He is survived by: his cousin Robert "Bobby" Klein; his children, Jeanne and John; his wife Barbara Ann McGee (McGee); his daughters, Deborah Ann Howard (Donald) of Bergen and Cynthia Ann Howard (Dean) of Batavia; his brother John Howard (Laurie); his son Richard Howard Jr. (Sarah) of Hopkinton; his grandchildren, D. R. Fogg, Devin Fogg, Amanda Chadsey, Joshua Howard, Daniel Neal, Matthew Neal, Abigail Regan, Racheal Smith and Benjamin Howard; his children, Maria Rowland (Rob) and James Howard; and his sister Jeanne Knobloch. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, his wife, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
