Daniel P. O'Connell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel P. O'Connell of Berne, New York, who passed away on May 27, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Connell and Margaret O'Connell (McCauley); his siblings, Christine and John; and his son Liam.
He is survived by: his children, Meghann (Nate Hardymon), Caitlin (Neil Cranker), Danny and Sean; his sisters, Jean and Joan; his sister-in-law Susan; and his grandchildren, Cailie, Cori, Liam and Quinn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cannon Funeral Home (2020 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12205). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in memory of Dan to the Berne Volunteer Fire Company (PO Box 187 Berne, NY 12023) or blood donations can be made in his honor through the American Red Cross.
