Daniel P. O'Connell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel P. O'Connell of Berne, New York, who passed away on May 27, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Connell and Margaret O'Connell (McCauley); his siblings, Christine and John; and his son Liam.
He is survived by: his children, Meghann (Nate Hardymon), Caitlin (Neil Cranker), Danny and Sean; his sisters, Jean and Joan; his sister-in-law Susan; and his grandchildren, Cailie, Cori, Liam and Quinn.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in memory of Dan to the Berne Volunteer Fire Company (PO Box 187 Berne, NY 12023) or blood donations can be made in his honor through the American Red Cross.
