Richard L. Shoemaker Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L. Shoemaker of Berne, New York, born in Schenectady, New York, who passed away on June 4, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Clifford Shoemaker and Edna Mae Shoemaker (Banks); his wife Nancy (Raeder); his sons, Richard Shoemaker, Jr. (Kim) of Town and Timothy Shoemaker (Diane) of Grafton; his grandchildren, Nathan (Sydney), Nicole (Sean), Andrew and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Noah, Natalie and Miles; and his siblings, Clifford Shoemaker (Joyce) of Mosheim, TN, Rose Jeffers (Larry) of Middleburgh, Raymond Shoemaker of Schoharie, Joyce Ouellette of Sharon Springs, Dorothy Weatherford and Betty Shafer. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
