He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Janet; his children, Al, Tim (Ania), Nicole and Joe (Gina); and his grandchildren, Timothy, Isaac, Melina, Joseph, Kellan and Owen.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (20 Hicksville Rd, Bethpage, NY 11714). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 11:15 AM.
