With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claire M. Morris (Bethpage, New York), who passed away on July 9, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Claire may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Morris; and her parents, Mary Quinn and John Quinn. She is survived by: her siblings, Thomas Quinn and Peggy Heavey; her siblings' children, Cheryl Heavey-Febbie and Robert Heavey (Bobby); and her children, Peter (Claudia Pici) and Mary Ann (Eric Kaumheimer). She is also survived by grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Arthur F. White Funeral Home (315 Conklin St, Farmingdale, NY 11735). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Martin of Tours (220 Central Ave, Bethpage, NY 11714). A burial will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at the St. Charles Cemetery (2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
