We announce the death of Eamon Fitzgerald of Bethpage, New York, who passed away on October 31, 2026, at the age of 89. Eamon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip and Bridget; and his siblings, Philomena, Maire, Padraig and Siobhan.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Fitzgerald; his children, Caitriona and Ciaran; his son-in-law Ryan; his grandchildren, Clare and Sean; and his extended family Aer Lingus. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandnephews and grandnieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (20 Hicksville Rd, Bethpage, NY 11714).
