It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Eileen M. Shields (Bethpage, New York), who passed away at the age of 63, on November 23, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Jim Edelmann; and her son John. She is survived by: her mother Pat Edelmann; her husband John; her children, Thomas (Samantha), Elizabeth (Nicholas), Emily, Katherine and Sarah; and her grandson Logan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (20 Hicksville Rd, Bethpage, NY 11714). A Mass was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Kilian's R. C. Church (485 Conklin St, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the ACDS Foundation or the American Cancer Society would be a wonderful way to honor Eileen's memory as well.
