She was predeceased by: her husband George Gerrish. She is survived by: her children, George W. Gerrish (Carol), James Gerrish (late Theresa), Rosemary Dikeman (David), John Gerrish (Penny), Virginia Benayoun (Jean-Luc), Joseph Gerrish (Lara) and Robert Gerrish (Janice); her grandchildren, George Gerrish (Jamie), Lauren Gerrish (Ryan LeGrady), Julianne Gerrish-Tien, Matthew Gerrish (Danielle), Marisa Knoth (Adam), Eric Dikeman (Joanne), Emma Benayoun (Jake), Julian Benayoun (Magdaline), Michael Gerrish (Amanda), Kailey Carpenter, Ross Carpenter, Robert Gerrish (Anna), Kurt Gerrish and Steven Gerrish; her great grandchildren, George, Evin Gerrish, Cameron, Lenore LeGrady, Hunter Tien, Andrew, Brian Knoth, Jameson, Killian Dikeman and Tyler Gerrish; and her siblings, Mary Staudermann, Rose Schmidt and Robert Schmidt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Julia's memory to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Answer the Call (Widows and orphans of NY Police Department and NY Fire Department) and to the New York Firefighters Burn Center Foundation.
