He is survived by: his wife Amparo; his children, Luz Helena, Gloria (Ronald), Diego (Lisa) and Jaime; his grandchildren, Jennifer (James), Jason (Dana), Jacqueline (Joseph), Alexa and Carly; and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Samantha, Matthew, Andrew, Alexandra, Olivia and Luca.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
