She was predeceased by: her parents, Alejandro Cruz and Filomena Cruz; her husband Carlo Montemurro; and her sisters, Luisa, Corina, Amelia, Carmen, Bertha, Etelvina, Cristina and Yolanda.
She is survived by: her daughter Maria Silvana Dubinsky (Mark); her grandsons, Jason Leavy (Melanie), Matthew Montemurro and Derrick Montemurro; and her great grandchildren, Aedan Leavy, Catherine Leavy and Leo Montemurro.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Miriam's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to her heart.
