He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis and Jean; and his brother John McCartney. He is survived by: his wife Sarah; his children, Brian (Chrissy), Eileen (Angelo), John (Veronica) and Kevin (Kathleen); his grandchildren, Frankie, Kelsey, Danielle, Brianna, Nicolette, Vincent, Emily and Robert; and his brother Tommy McCartney.
