She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. VerBryck and Carol Hultslander; her stepmother Judy VerBryck; her mother-in-law Glorida Lucas Burford; her nephew Jacob Holden; and her pet Rosie.
She is survived by: her husband Derrick Burford; her children, Shelby, Rachael, Sydney and Jack Burford; her sisters, Sheryl Mann (Chris) and Sarah Holden (Ralph); her nieces and nephews, Steve, Billy (Victoria), Kristyn, Hannah (Vin), Ashton and Tristan; and her great-nephews, Liam and Jameson. She is also survived by extended family members, coworkers, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc. (137 Robinson St, Binghamton, NY 13904). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Donations in Amy's memory may be made to Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for cancer research or to Mercy House of the Southern Tier to support people facing serious illness.
