She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Patrick Dempsey Jr.; her parents, R. John Dolan and Eileen D. Dolan; and her sister Patricia D. Chivers. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Dempsey (Ellen McCarthy), Dr. Caroline, Brian Murphy of Montpelier, VT, John and Jennifer Dempsey of Boston, MA; her sister JoAnn Dolan; her brother-in-law James Chivers; and her grandchildren, Aidan Thomas, Grace Colleen Murphy, Jackson Daniel and Lilah Shea Dempsey. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
