He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillips John and Martha Frances St John; his parents-in-law, Harold and Phyllis Gates; his brother Eric St John; and his brother-in-law Herb Walling.
He is survived by: his wife Melanie St John (Gates); his children, Aaron St John (Molly), Erika Dzuba (Scott) and Luke St John (Katie); his sisters, Francine Walling and Elizabeth Damiano (John); and his sisters-in-law, Judy St John and Anita Gilley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
