He was predeceased by: his wife Debra Ann Shepherd; his parents, Marvin Shepherd and Pearl Jean Shepherd; his stepfather Kenneth Bockhorst; his brothers, Calvin Shepherd, Rodney Shepherd and Lonnie Shepherd; and his nephew Marvin Shepherd.
He is survived by: his daughters, Danee Breznay (Andrew) and Casey Shepherd (Jesse Schoentube).
