He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine B. Birtch; his parents, William Birtch and Almira Birtch; and his brother William Birtch. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Collins-Birtch, Melinda (Robert DeGraff), David C. Birtch (Marisa Ward) and Derek (Melissa Birtch); his grandchildren, Andrea, Erica, Kevin, Mackenzie, Brianna, Michael, Nicolas, Jackson, Carter, Sophia, Angelina, Isabella, Abbygale and Amelia; his sister Barbara (Arthur Ruck); his siblings-in-law, Dennis, Kris Sexton, Marsha Birtch and Frank Hovancik; his friends, Bob, Linda Miller, Wayne, Kathy Allen, Jack, Cathy Fitzgerald and Joe Smith; and his pet Missy. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
