He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Woodruff and Gladys Woodruff; his siblings, Richard, Charlie, Roberta Bryant and Marlice; his brother-in-law Francis Brewer; and his niece Rachel.

He is survived by: his children, Rachel and David (Leia); his wife Shirley; his grandchildren, Devon, Ella and Mia; his brothers, Emerson (Phyllis), Paul (Diane) and Don; and his sister-in-law Colleen Olynick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
