He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Martinez and Eneida Martinez; and his brother Martin Sosa. He is survived by: his children, Maria Griswold and Eddie Cancel; his grandchildren, Alexander, Christian Maldonado and Arianna Sanchez; his great grandchild Alexander Joel Maldonado; and his siblings, Marilyn Matos, Jose M. Sosa, Israel Sosa and Santiago Martinez. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
