He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest L. Mauro and Barbara M. Mauro (Giovannini); and his sister Delores M. Hankins (Mauro). He is survived by: his wife Luigia M. Mauro (Capozzi); his sons, Ernest A. (Cheryl) of Binghamton, NY and Michael T. (Jennifer Mauro); his grandchildren, Brianna C. Mauro (Bryan Langston) of League City, TX, Michael T. Mauro Jr. (Kelsey Ryan) of Chicago, IL, Anthony E. Mauro (Hannah) of Endicott, NY, Nicolas A. Mauro, Shelby Ruppenthal of Albany, NY, Emalie R. Freitas, Ryan Grant of Woodbridge, VA and Tia M. Mauro of Hershey, PA; and his great grandchildren, Luciana and Declan Langston of League City, TX.. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers all donations will be distributed to the organizations they were rescued from.
