He was predeceased by : his parents, Tommie Lee and Naomi Johnson; and his siblings, Thomasine Freeman, John E. Johnson, Booker P. Johnson, Fredericka A. Johnson, Timothy Johnson and Maurice Johnson.

He is survived by : his sister Fredericka Ann; his wife Sandra; his siblings, Naomi, Tommie (Joyce), Deidre, Madeline and Kathryn; his sons, Frederick II (Patricia) and Seth (Jayne); his grandchildren, Evan, Jade, Zachary, Justine and Xavier; and his brothers-in-law, Lafayette Miller, Jr. (Jean) and Perez Miller (Ruthie). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the J. A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home (141 Main St, Binghamton, NY 13905). A burial was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at the Vestal Hills Memorial Park (3997 Vestal Rd, Vestal, NY 13850).
