He was predeceased by: his father Vincenzo DeNinis; his siblings, Emillio, Grazietta, Eveilina, Giacomo, Lidia and Frank; his parents-in-law, Daniele and Silvia; and his siblings-in-law, Guerino, Nello, Donato, Tulmine, Carrodino, Adelina, Adina and Linda.

He is survived by: his wife Maria; his daughters, Marilena Benko (Mike) and Silvia Bartlow (Gene); his grandchildren, Matthew, Mikaila, Mianna, Alexia and Lucas; his sibling Eginia; and his siblings-in-law, Sandro, Berardino, Maria, Ginetta and Assunta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in Genesio's memory.
