With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Geraldine Tinder (Binghamton, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Geraldine left this world on November 8, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Tinder (Dick); her parents, Francis Cooper and Lillian Cooper; her sons, Michael, James and Daniel Tinder; her siblings, Robert Cooper (Thelma) and Mary Lou Hutchings (Robert); and her brothers-in-law, John Carolan, Philip Tinder and Joseph Fiato.

She is survived by: her children, Rick Tinder (Joanne), Colleen Mondolfi (Michael), Tim Tinder (Deanne), Karol Liberati (Jim) and Kelly McMahon; her daughter-in-law Janet Tinder; her sister Margaret Carolan (Peg); her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Tinder, Mary Fiato and Kim Tinder; and her goddaughter Amy Nedswick. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren who adored her, 24 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews including the Hutchings, Coopers, Carolans, Tinders and Fiatos.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Binghamton Fire Department Benevolent Association.
